With Harvest in full swing, tractors, combines, and other slow moving farm vehicles are out on the roadways. Drivers need to be aware of those slow moving vehicles as you can approach them very quickly. Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips says most farm vehicles travel between 15 and 25 mph.
He says another common caution with farm vehicles is the size of them as many times they will take up more than 1 lane.
Sheriff Phillips says drivers need to bring their patience and stay alert.
Be aware of those triangles and slow down when approaching vehicles with those signals.
