The Marshalltown Bobcat football team made their second trip to Waterloo – Cedar Falls as they took on the Waterloo West Wahawks in Week 8 of the 2025 season. In what seems to be a pattern this year, the Cats got themselves behind the 8-ball early with an offensive catastrophe.

That was voice of the Bobcats Brandon Lewis on the call as West took the early lead and put the pedal to the medal from there. It was a 31-0 Wahawk lead at the half, and while the Cats put together some solid work after the break, it was too little too late as they fell on the road 45-13. Marshalltown will wrap up the regular season next week against Dowling at Leonard Cole Field.
