Many people are looking to get their flu shot in October as Marshall County Public Health Director Sydney Grewell is encouraging.  She says the vaccine is made from last years strains trying to predicts what will happen this year.

The flu is a virus that can mutate over time and create new strains.  She says they begin looking at next years vaccine during the flu season this year.

Grewell suggest people to start with their family doctor to get a flu vaccine but reminds listeners that most pharmacies will give out the shot.
