Two Cross Country Runners qualify for state…
Yesterday was the State Qualifying meet for High School Cross Country. The Marshalltown Bobcats had hopes all season to qualify as a team and they needed to place in the top 3 of a tough field. Yesterday, as a team, the Bobcats finished in 5th place behind Waukee, Waukee Northwest, Dubuque Hempstead, and Top-ranked Cedar Falls. Two Bobcats finished inside the top 15, Preston Johnson and Carter Nunn. Johnson finished in 2nd place just behind the state runner-up last year, Jaden Merrick of Cedar Falls. State for Boys Cross Country is Saturday November 1st at Lakeside Municipal Goilf Course in Fort Dodge.
Girls Swim in Mason City…
Today will be the Conference meet for the Marshalltown Bobcat girls swim team. They are heading up to Mason City to compete today. This comes after Harlie Thatcher earned 3rd place at Conference Diving on Tuesday this week. She had a career best, 364.
Bobcat Volleyball in Round Two for Regionals…
The Bobcat Volleyball team will travel south tonight for round two of regional volleyball. The Bobcats will take on the Ankeny Hawks tonight.
