Marshall County Engineer Paul Geilenfeldt says this is the time of year they begin to get picky about the jobs they decide to start.

Geilenfeldt says this week their office is shifting their minds into winter mode.

He says its really a guessing game when it comes to ordering salt.  The last few winters have been mild so the County has not used as much salt. The team is also prepping a few new plow drivers.

The County has about 14 plows that will be working this winter to clear and salt roads.
