Public Works Director for the City of Marshalltown, Heather Thomas, joined the KFJB line last week to talk through projects happening beyond the Main Street project. She says there is a patching project happening on E. Main Street between 12th Ave and 18th Ave with 1 lane closed.
A similar patching project is happening on Lincoln Way and there is a detour due to the road being closed to thru traffic near Lincoln Towers. Thomas says that stretch of road should open on Tuesday this week.
Thomas says that project should take a week to a week and a half.
