Conference Diving and Swimming for the Bobcat girls took place last week. In diving, Harlie Thatcher had her best 11-dive meet scoring 364, which placed Thatcher in 3rd place.
That is head coach Angie Nelson who says Thatcher will have a chance to make it to the state tournament when she competes at the Regional event on Thursday next week at the Marshalltown YMCA. Nelson says the swimmers also showed up at conference last week.
The Bobcats did earn 2nd place at conference and Nelson says they got some great times for Regionals and should be in the top heats.
The Bobcats will have regional diving on Thursday next week at the Marshalltown YMCA and then swimming regionals will take place Saturday at the Marshalltown YMCA.
