High School girls from across Central Iowa will be in town Thursday and Saturday for the Regional Swimming and Diving events at the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA.  This is the meet where the girls will need to perform at to qualify for the State Meet.

That is Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA Aquatic Director Shelley Lechnir.  A total of 9 teams will be competing at the swimming events but diving will have 12 teams as the Davenport region will compete here.  Spectators will need to get a ticket through the girls’ union.

People can find a link to tickets at ighsau.org.  Ames, Dubuque, Johnston Marshalltown, Mason City and Waukee are the locations for the 6 regional events this week.
