Yesterday was Round 2 for state volleyball in the Xtream Arena in Iowa City. Grundy Center snuck by Beckman Catholic on Tuesday 3-2 but did not have the same success yesterday facing Denver. Grundy Center falls to Denver 3-1 only winning set #3 and ending the Spartans season.
North Tama beat Sidney 3-0 on Tuesday and were feeling good heading into round 2 yesterday. The Hawks battled Janesville last night and it was all Janesville as they win with a 3-0 sweep ending the Hawks season in the 2nd round
