Saturday was the Regional Swim meet at the Marshalltown YMCA and the Bobcats competed against 8 other teams. Across the board the Bobcats had time drops, here is a proud head coach, Angie Nelson.
Adel Beek had a goal to be on the podium for the 100 breaststroke and she swam here way to first place and an automatic bid for state.
Leia Hernandez was able to capture 3rd place in a couple of sprints
The girls will be back in the pool today as they prepare for State Swim in Iowa City for the first time in their high school career. State Swim is Thursday November 13th and Friday November 14th.
