Yesterday in the UNI-Dome, the #3 Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels took on the #2 Woodbine Tigers for a chance to play in the state championship game.  In a high scoring game, the Rebels were able to score 30 points but the defense couldn’t hold the Tigers from scoring 38.  The Rebels lose in the semi-finals 38-30.  Woodbine will face tap ranked Bishop Garrigan in the championship.

Today, Class A and Class 4A football will be played in the UNI-Dome.  Ansgar will face Wapsie Valley at 10am and MMCRU Marcus will play West Sioux at 1pm for Class A.  Then in Class 4A Sergeant Bluff-Luton will face Pella at 4pm and Cedar Rapid Xavier will play Newton at 7pm.
