After the big snow storm this past weekend, it is good to review the snow ordinance and emergencies in Marshalltown.  Marshalltown Public Works Director Heather Thomas wants to remind people what a Snow Emergency means.

People can find a map of the Snow Route and where parking is restricted due to the Snow Emergency online at Marshalltown-ia.gov.  Thomas says the crews clearing snow are out early in the morning.

Thomas then reviews their priorities when clearing snow across town.

The best bet if you are uncomfortable driving in the snow, give it a day or two post storm to head out on the roadways.  Trucks were still working yesterday from the storm Friday night.
