Last night the Marshalltown Bobcats hosted the Waterloo East Trojans in basketball.  The doubleheader started out exciting as the girls had a close game down to the wire.  The Bobcats had 1 final possession where Jorja Janssen off of the defensive rebound found Millie Heitmann for a big big 3pt shot to tie the game at 48 to end regulation.  That momentum was not able to translate to Overtime as the Trojans get the shots to fall and win the game 53-52.

For the Boys the Bobcats had control of the game throughout and win the low scoring game 45-34.  The teams are back in action with a rivalry game on Thursday night when the Bobcats travel to Ames to take on the Little Cyclones.  Both the boys and girls game will be aired on KFJB-TV on Thursday night.
