Recently when the Marshalltown Fire Department was battling a fire, a couple of the fire hydrants they hooked up to did not work.  Fire Chief Christopher Cross shares what happened.

Chief Cross says the Fire Hydrants are owned and operated by Water Works

He says everyone is aware of the situation and they are working through it together.  He also reminds people who have Hydrants on their property to make sure they are cleared and have access, especially clear of snow.  Technically we still do have at least 2 months of winter.
