The Marshalltown Central Business District is continuing their Military Banner Program. Yesterday they announced that there is still space for banners this year. The banners are to honor local veterans and active-duty service members. The banners will be out from Memorial Day to Veterans Day and there is limited space for 2026 with just over 100 banners left.
Each banner features the honoree’s name, branch of service, and photo, creating a powerful and patriotic display throughout downtown Marshalltown. The theme for the banners this year is, “Their Service, Our Gratitude.”
Applications may be completed online through Zeffy or by submitting a paper form with payment to the MCBD office with the deadline being March 15th. More details can be found online at marshalltownmainstreet.org
