Announced on Bonus Time last week, Kendra Sorensen’s last day with the Marshalltown Area United Way is today.  She has spent the past 5 years as the Executive Director and giving back to the Marshalltown community.

Sorensen says this is not the end for her and many people will still see her out and about and pushing this community to be the best.

Family is important to Sorensen and she has added a few grandkids to her family in recent years; this change is for a better balance to spend more time with family and her grandkids.

Sorensen will be missed as the Executive Director but she is confident in the hiring committee to find the right person to continue to carry the United Way torch.
