Every year in March, property owners need to pay their second half property tax payment. Deann Tomlinson, Marshall County Treasurer, shares when the deadline is to make that payment.
Paying online will cost people about 35 cents for an e-check. Tomlinson says the dropbox is safe a secure if people want to use that. The third way people can pay is by putting a check in the mail.
The penalty for being late is a 1.5% penalty starting on April 1st. Tomlinson says people can stop by their office if you have any questions, they are on the first floor of the Marshall County Courthouse.
