May is Mental Health month and David Hicks with YSS has been working with Amber Danielson with the Arts and Culture Alliance to do a combined event and highlight Mental Health. They are doing a Studio Stories project on May 22nd.
Hicks says beyond the art, some of their alumni will be coming back to share their story. He says the Marshall County Office has embraced art for many years.
This event is open to the public. It is set to run 6 – 8pm at the Arts and Culture Alliance Office in downtown Marshalltown.
