The Marshalltown Central Business District is asking people to roll up their sleeves and help with a spring clean up in early May. Danielle Lekin, Executive Director, made the call for volunteers yesterday morning on KFJB.
She says people will meet in front of their office on Saturday, May 2nd and people just need to come as they are.
Lekin encourages people to pick up trash every single day, but on May 2nd they are looking for a team to focus on downtown to prepare for the spring and summer events ahead. Contact Lekin at the MCBD to sign up to volunteer
