Soybeans were modestly higher on commercial and technical buying but finished the session just above the day’s lows as contracts are at least a little overbought. Most forecasts have more harvest delaying rain in parts of Brazil, also impacting quality, and uneven rainfall in parts of Argentina. Those harvest delays in Brazil have pushed truck freight rates higher. The USDA is expected to make at least some adjustment to South American production projections Tuesday, with the average estimate for Argentina showing a slight decrease and the guess for Brazil expected to see a slight increase.
