Back-to-back weather systems will cross the country, with the second storm having a more widespread impact than the first. The system currently crossing the northern Rockies will reach the upper Great Lakes region on Thursday, with a trailing cold front stalling late in the week across the mid-Atlantic and Tennessee Valley. Snow associated with the first storm will fall from Wyoming to northeastern Minnesota. The second system is likely to produce significant spring snowfall, starting on Friday night and Saturday, across central sections of the Rockies and High Plains.
