April live cattle closed $.42 higher at $119.55 and June live cattle closed $.77 higher at $121.07. March feeder cattle closed $.37 higher at $136.15 and April feeder cattle closed $1.77 higher at $144.22.
Scattered, light direct cash cattle trade took place on Thursday. Live deals ranged from $115 to $116, about steady to $1 higher than Wednesday’s business and $2 higher than last week’s weighted average basis.
