Kevin “KJ” Johnson will begin as the new President of the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association on April 1st.
Johnson previously served as the association’s director of governmental affairs for eight years and steps into the position following the retirement of current president of 17 years Jean Payne.
Johnson tells Brownfield the association accomplished some great things under Payne’s leadership, and he is not going to reinvent the wheel, but he does have some ideas for growth including the creation of a leadership program.
