At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle ended the day mostly lower, and feeder cattle were mostly higher watching corn and direct markets develop. April live cattle were unchanged at $120.97 and June live cattle are $.42 lower at $122.22. April feeder cattle closed $.25 lower at $146.82 and May feeder cattle were unchanged at $152.20.
Direct cash cattle trade activity was quiet on Tuesday. Bids were few and far between. Asking prices are around $118 to $120 live in the South and $192 dressed in the North.
