A South Dakota grower has one field of soybeans left to plant and then he’ll be done with what’s been a cool and dry planting season.
Lewis Bainbridge farms in southeast South Dakota and tells Brownfield,
“We have not had any rain delays planting. So, that’s kind of unfortunate because we went into the spring fairly dry and we’re still kind of dry.”
He finished planting corn three weeks ago and even though it’s been cool, emergence is good, I’m thinking that we are okay, we’re going to be fine on emergence.
