At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle ended the day mixed and feeders closed lower watching corn and waiting for Friday’s Cattle on Feed numbers. June live cattle closed $.30 lower at $116.60 and August live cattle closed $.25 lower at $119.87. May feeder cattle closed $.82 lower at $135.75 and August feeder cattle closed $1.80 lower at $151.07.
Another round of direct cash cattle trade was reported on Thursday. There’s been light to moderate, scattered trade that’s developed throughout the week.
