Some farmers across the Corn Belt are facing supply shortages during planting season.
But Northeast Nebraska farmer Jason Penke tells Brownfield most of what he used was prepaid for and delivered on time. “You know there are some chemicals that are tight or short or nonexistent to get right now. There was good supply of most every hybrid and variety for us that we planted and that was out there. For fertilizer, supply was good on fertilizer.”
The corn and soybean farmer near Craig says the bigger challenge producers have faced was finding parts.
