A Sturgeon Bay nursery operator has been named the University of Wisconsin River Falls 2021 Wisconsin Distinguished Agriculturalist.

Ron Amos of Evergreen Nursery Company has a strong background in plant propagation and has worked to create unique birches and other woody plants and new high-yielding cranberry cultivars.  Amos has also been a leader and educator with the International Plant Propagators Society.
