A member of the National Pork Board says the organization is launching a campaign to show how the industry continues to be good stewards of the environment.
Rob Christine tells Brownfield they want to share, “how we’ve made such great improvements and to answer consumer questions as to why we keep animals inside,” he says. “And how we utilize nutrients off the farm to be a sustainable fertilizer for our corn and soybeans and other crops.”
He says the industry is “doing everything they can” to tell its story.
