A farm equipment supplier says he’s struggling to fill customer orders because of a 6-8 month wait for parts. “I spend a good portion of my day just on the phone looking for parts and pieces here and there to complete projects.”
Jerry Baysinger, with JBI Enterprises in Southeast Nebraska near Bruning, sells Shortline Equipment and builds chemical fertilizer tool bars. “It’s challenging to get purchased steel now. We have some implement tire orders that haven’t been filled yet,” Baysinger says.
