Southern Indiana farmer Ben Kron says he’s expecting an average corn crop because of recent dry conditions.
“I am slightly concerned with the yield on corn,” he says. “…The corn looks good from afar, but when you get out in the fields and start pulling ears and really looking into it, I’m expecting an average at best crop.”
He tells Brownfield some late-season rains have helped, but there is disease pressure.
