The USDA says corn condition declined some while soybeans held steady last week.

Seventy-nine percent of the state’s corn conditions is good to excellent. Ninety-four percent of corn is silking, 81 percent is in the dough stage with 38 percent dented.

Seventy-three percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent. Ninety-three percent of soybeans are blooming, and 87 percent are setting pods.
