The USDA says corn, sorghum, soybean, and wheat export inspections continue to trail the previous marketing year’s pace. The 2021/22 marketing year started June 1st for wheat and September 1st for corn, sorghum, and soybeans.
Wheat came out at 435,173 tons, down 180,040 from the week ending September 30th and 79,500 from the week ending October 8th, 2020. The top destinations were Japan and Colombia. At this point in 2021/22, wheat inspections are 9,184,962 tons, compared to 10,448,122 in 2020/21.
