Marie Ann Condon, 69, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her residence. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Marie was born September 8, 1958 to Avard and Velma (Daughtery) Condon in Adair, IA. Marie graduated from Adair High School and continued her education at Drake University in Des Moines, IA on a full ride scholarship. On May 12, 1973 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. Two years later on May 17, 1975 she got her Masters degree in Business Administration. She achieved her law degree just one year later on December 21, 1976. Throughout her life she worked as an attorney in the Marshall County area for the Fairall Law Firm for 28 years, where she later on had her on practice known as Condon and Hoglan Law Firm for 17 years. Marie was a member of the Iowa Bar Association, Supreme Court of The United States in 1995 and the Supreme Court of Iowa in 1977. She loved all her cats and dogs, the Iowa Hawkeyes, Notre Dame and St. Louis Cardinals

Marie is survived by her step-son, Josh Hoglan of Marshalltown and two step-grandchild, Jhett and Junuh Hoglan of Marshalltown. She is preceded in death by her long-time partner, Theodore Hoglan and her parents.
