Minnesota Farm Bureau identified the supply chain and sustainability as priority issues during last month’s annual meeting.

President Dan Glessing, a dairy farmer from Waverly, tells Brownfield the pandemic exposed weaknesses that need to be addressed.

“As far as empty shelves in stores, and now it’s more (about) getting parts for us to keep operating our farms and ranches.”

He says the organization wants to lead the way in climate smart practices.
