Ethanol production dipped last week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.087 million barrels a day, down 3,000 on the week, but up 130,000 on the year when production was constrained by concerns about demand.

Iowa State University’s Center for Agricultural and Rural Development says that margins eased over the past week but remained attractive to producers, and the USDA says Midwest ethanol prices were lower.

The Renewable Fuels Association says net inputs by refiners and blenders and the volume of gasoline supplied to the market were both above a week ago and a year ago.
