Another light round of direct cash cattle trade is underway. There’s been a handful of deals in Kansas at $135 live, fully steady with Tuesday’s business. Bids in other parts of cattle country are at $135 live and $216 dressed. With the end of the week holiday, it’s likely trade continues to come in dribs and drabs before the end of the day Thursday. Trade volume for the next couple of weeks is expected to be small.
