Compeer Financial vice president of legislative affairs Perry Aasness says 2022 is shaping up to be a big year for ag policy. He points out that Congress will continue to debate Build Back Better, and farm bill listening sessions will pick up because the current farm bill expires in 2023.
Aasness says the outcome of November’s mid-term election could also have a dramatic impact.
