Former chairman of the USDA’s World Ag Outlook Board Gerald “Jerry” Bange died Thursday, January 13th. Bange, who worked for several USDA agencies from 1971 to 2014, spent 1994 to 2014 as the head of the WAOB, oversaw the monthly World Agriculture Supply and Demand estimates report and helped the agency move reports into the internet era.
As of Friday afternoon, funeral arrangements were not announced.
