Missouri state legislators are targeting ag priorities this legislative session that didn’t make it last year.
Representative Willard Haley, who represents parts of Miller, Morgan, and Moniteau Counties, tells Brownfield his priorities start with Missouri Agriculture and Small Business Development Authority tax credits.
“Last year, we failed to get the MASBDA tax credits across the finish line and we have that as a priority,” Haley said.
The House Ag Committee member said the tax credits are needed to help establish young and beginning farmers.
