A complex and sprawling spring storm will move inland early in the week along the northern Pacific Coast, followed by a slow eastward progression across the northern Plains on Tuesday and the Great Lakes States on Thursday and Friday. The storm will produce some snow across the northern U.S., heaviest early in the week from the Cascades to the northern Rockies. Meanwhile, 5-day precipitation totals could reach 1 to 2 inches or more from the Midwest into the Northeast.
