Iowa farmer Dean Meyer serves as a district director for the Iowa Corn Growers and is chair-elect for the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
He says the corn growers invest in USMEF because beef and pork exports add more than 60 cents per bushel to the price of corn.
And he tells Brownfield 2021 was a record year for red meat exports.
