While rains will gradually end across the central and southern Plains early Friday, although flooding may linger in some of the hardest-hit areas of southeastern Kansas and central and eastern Oklahoma.  Meanwhile, rain will linger in parts of the eastern through southern Corn Belt, Ohio Valley and middle Atlantic States Friday into Saturday.  Storm-total rainfall could reach 1 to 3 inches or more, leading to localized flooding.
