A north Iowa farmer is more at ease with marketing now that planting is behind him.

Casey Schlichting grows corn and soybeans near Clear Lake.

“I always try to have something going, especially with the way prices have been, trying to get on the Board a little bit. But you have a little more piece of mind going forward with the crop in the ground.”

He finished planting May 15th.
