Southern deals this week have mostly been at $137, steady to $1 lower than last week. Northern dressed trade has been $2 lower on the week at $232.

Boxed beef is mixed at midday. Choice is $.07 higher at $268.14 and select is $1.23 lower at $241.35. The choice/select spread is $26.79.
