There’s another round of light direct cash cattle business underway.  Live deals in Kansas and Texas are at $136, fully steady with the week’s business, but still below last week’s weighted averages.  A few bids have surfaced in the North at $225.  Asking prices are at $137 to $140 live in the South and $228 to $230 dressed in the North.  So far this week, Southern live trade has been marked at $136 about $.50 to $1 lower than last week’s weighted averages.
