Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed lower Wednesday following the direction of commodities while cash markets were also mostly lower.
October Class III milk down 24 cents at $21.70. November down 36 cents at $21.43. December down 36 cents at $21.40. January down 24 cents at $20.97. February through April contracts six to 19 cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.0050 at $0.45. One sale was made at that price.
