At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle ended the day higher ahead of Friday’s On Feed numbers.  There was also some additional support from the higher boxed beef prices and the mostly lower move in corn.  February live cattle closed $.67 higher at $156.62 and April lives closed $.80 higher at $159.92.  March feeders closed $.87 higher at $180.97 and April feeders closed $.62 higher at $185.77. 

There was another round of light direct cash cattle trade that took place on Friday.
