An atmospheric scientist says the delta region is at higher risk for severe weather this year.

Eric Snodgrass with Nutrien Ag Solutions tells Brownfield, “Unfortunately they are going to go from a very wet time period right now, which we expect to last through February, into likely an early severe weather season.”

He says models are showing a shift away from the La Nina weather pattern experienced the last three years.
