Prices for dairy products fell Tuesday on the Global Dairy Trading platform.  The index was down 2.6% with Cheddar cheese taking the biggest fall.

Cheddar cheese was down 10.2% to $4,052 a metric ton, or $1.83 per pound.

Anhydrous milk fat prices were down 3.8% to $5,150 a metric ton, or $2.33 per pound.

Skim milk powder fell 3.5% to $2,648 a ton or $1.20 per pound.

Whole milk powder was down 1.5% to $2,228 per ton or $1.01 per pound.
